Garage Engineer's Prototype Hello, welcome back to my blog! I will be sharing with you what my group created and our journey. :D Our team was assigned to create a self-sanitizing door handle. It was truly a challenging task but we were determined especially after researching the statistics for the number of deaths from Covid-19 which was a staggering toll of 6 million. This pandemic/endemic truly inspired us to come up with a successful prototype shown above. Let us see how did we create this! Planning Firstly, we did our research about this self-sanitizing door handle which was created by University students. This was a truly aesthetically pleasing yet a very functional door handle. This door handle is made out of glass to allow UV light to pass through as UV light has its own anti-microbial properties.
