3D Printing In this session I have learnt how to 3D print an item out of scratch using Fusion 360. We were given instructions to create an item that cannot be made subtractively (can be cut or carved out). Such examples are a whistle and a ball in a box. During this experience I have encountered numerous issues such as the difficulty to create my design in Fusion 360 as I am not really experienced in using all the functions included and I have made an object that could have been made subtractively which was a Pokeball. Here is the model of my Pokeball. I have only realised my mistake at the workshop and then decided to add hinges so that the Pokeball is able to open and close. After that procedure I faced another problem as it needed a support since it was a sphere. I was really clueless and had little guidance.
